St. Botolph's Church or "The Stump"

Boston, Lincolnshire

View of the tower of St. Botolph’s Church or “The Stump” from the High Street Bridge. In the foreground is a fast flowing River Witham. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to sample the “Bateman’s Good Honest Ales” from the riverside pub.

looks like a very well fed tower, unless it was intended to have a spire too; pretty well fed river too
