Our table at the La Bimba restaurant (discussed in the previous image) was inside a bay window which looked out over the ground floor's awning and the main road beyond. A number of sparrows, once common in Sydney but no longer so, popped in to have a rest and scope out the surroundings from time to time.

In this shot you can also see the dampness on the road and awning from where it had been raining earlier in the morning.
