The weather was initially overcast and drizzly on our first day in Apollo Bay. By this time of the morning it had begun to clear a little, with light beaming down onto the beach and the Southern Ocean beyond, though the promontory on the far side of the bay remained shrouded in light, misty rain. This didn't prevent the locals from taking their morning constitutional, though.
