This group of statues of early sixteen century has been put in the crypt only recently, to protect them from the offence of time…and weather; once they used to be outdoors, for this reasons they are so damaged.
The statues are practical of natural size, so approaching them one has the disquieting feeling to be part of the funeral procession together with Mary, Nicodemus John, Rabbi Gamaliel and the others…
