There was something appealing in these gothic ruins...

Quimperlé - Bretagne (France)

Turning around them, we found a kind of tavern run by a cheerful lady who looked like a gypsy.
We had the impression to be in a movie, maybe we were...

The tavern was too dark to take photos inside, all made of old wood.
The owner served us a surprisingly good quiche lorraine and a fresh green salad.
The beer was cool and tasty too.

Besides the owner and us, there was only a very thin and silent old man with a dog, maybe benevolent ghosts...

We asked to the ghost…ops to the man with the dog about the ruins and he explained us it was the church of Saint-Colomban, a Celtic monastery built between the 11th and the 13th centuries then …well then he doesn’t know anymore.
