Jumbo treat!

Ol Jogi ranch, Laikipia Plateau, Kenya

Well, this was what we all wanted to see. We couldn't really get any closer, but just to catch a glimpse of this family group of elephants slaking their thirst with some good ole 'muddy waters' was, indeed, a jumbo treat!

Nice portrayal of the group at just the right moment. Interesting that even with large animals, 500mm is barely enough. Good to know, since I want to go there too. ~V~
