Plume moth

This white plume moth, possibly Hellinsia sp., landed on a reflective surface. My camera caught the sunlight reflections and created this purple backdrop. It looks like the moth is dancing in the light.

spectral descent , winged arms held high and aloft -- or perhaps rising to meet a purple day...gorgeous image

Yes it does look as if this moth is dancing. Maybe a first.
