In amongst some of Sydney's solid old stone architecture is the NSW Department of Lands building.
High above the grand entrance is this bust of Queen Victoria. The light was hitting it in such a
way that it seemed to come alive for just an instant. All a bit creepy really.

Just what I was thinking, she looks more alive than made of stone, undoubtedly a very fine representation. An elegant shot, not only the subject, but the technique of the photographer in using the light. BBV

She isn't very amused, is she? Nice capture of this sensitive sculpture.

Is she saying 'you have been a naughty boy?' Just that sort of look

What makes it really creepy is that she's missing her body! Nicely seen & captured, David! V~

She's not very cheerful, a bad day perhaps. Great shot David !

I know that face! Yes, she's watching us. It's the way the light is hitting it and shadowing the eyes; well spotted.
