Alligator mississippiensis
Initial sight in the first witness of alligators hatching in the wild.
Unable to move closer to the egg because of the presence of the adult alligator nearby (shown in subsequent photos)
The was the first egg observed simultaneous to hearing alligator hatchlings which are later shown.
This is very likely an egg shell remaining after hatching of the baby alligator.
