Rock near the Principal Temple

Many say this rock represents the southern cross. Found near the Principal Temple this rock is more likely a model of Llactapata Ridge in the background. If you stand looking toward Llactapata, as in this photo, the Sun gate would be behind you on your left side. On a solstice event, the sun would rise from behind you, shine toward Llactapata, and because part of Llactapata was covered in gold, the light would reflect back. Next photo please...........
