Fletcher Wildlife Garden. At about this time of year, red squirrels take to nipping tree branches, especially on maples, and then enjoying the sap that flows. This activity is a reminder that maple syrup time will be soon!
Wow Christine........beautiful. Gosh you just wanna squeeze him (gently though). They are such wonderful little critters. I really love watching squirrels play and chase one another up and down the big pine trees here. I don't think we have any red squirrels down south, or a least I haven't seen any, so I enjoyed this shot a great deal. Fantastic. Vote :)
