Follow me if you will, on my Thursday night, over the next three posts.
Tonight was Ian's 1st grade Fine Arts Night. They performed a play entitled, "Go Fish". It was very animated and just about everyone had a speaking part of some kind. It was really cute, and the kids appeared to have a great time putting it on.
I arrived pretty close to what should have been the start of the night. Margaret took Ian to school earlier to get ready and I stayed behind with the last two daycare kids until they were picked up, and then I left for the play. I had to park about 2 blocks away because my sons school has THE worst parking I have ever seen at a grade school, short of being an inner city school. And even then I'll bet you can at least find a parking garage nearby.
So, Margaret saves me a seat, and we're in the back of the auditorium. No biggie, I brought the 85mm f/1.8, and the field of view from the back of the room isn't all that bad. And if I choose to stand up, won't be blocking anyone. More on THAT later.
So, we're patiently waiting for the play to start, and I look over and Eli is making faces at me, giving me the "Da-Da-Da!" treatment. So I rattle off a few dozen frames of him while we wait. This was on of my faves, and not bad for iso1600.
To be continued in part two...
