Kingston Krew Daycare

Margaret came up with an idea for a shot yesterday. She wanted a shot with just about 95% of all the kids she will have this year. We posed them out on the playground and fired away.

So here's a quick question...how many of you set up a shot like this, and as soon as you send everybody on their way, and look at them in the computer, come up with about 3-4 more variations that you could have shot had you thought of it out on the playground? I know hindsight is 20/20, but damn, some days I'm just freaking blind to the possibilities without really adding too much extra effort. It's like my brain only works well once I sit down at the monitor and look at them. Not that this is a bad shot in my mind, but the one I came up with 30 seconds after 3 kids left for the day was so much better.

Oh well. Maybe next time.

Regardless, John, the fact that they're all actually looking at the camera and some are even smiling is a minor miracle. Did you have to pull out the clown suit for this one or what?

I think it a fantastic picture and the next time you can do something different. :-)

Love all the kids in one shot, need more!
