Tonight was Ian's last night of floor hockey at the park district. I didn't have such great luck the first week using available light, so I thought I'd throw the flash on top of the camera and give that a whirl. I managed to get a lot of action. What I also managed to get was a lot of red eye and flash reflections up off the hardwood floor. If I had to do it all over again, I would have just brought in a lightstand and put a strobe on it about 8ft up. I got enough funny looks tonight, that would have been hysterical. I took a quick scan through the 150 or so shots I took and easily picked this one as a favorite for tonight to post. I just love the expression and the flex in the shaft.
Goofy weather we're having right now. It hit 60 today with lots of rain, and it's supposed to fall to about 17 overnight. Tomorrow morning aught to be fun.
