The recorded data has no really dark or light tones. That is the nature of light on a foggy day. Imposing pure blacks and whites with the sliders falsifies the picture but the data as recorded is too dark. So partial adjustments were made with the black and white sliders. A slight adjustment was made with the grey slider. The final version is reasonably true to the scene I ‘remember’. In-camera AWB was only partially successful or maybe too accurate, and on aesthetic grounds some blue could be removed in the editing software but that’s not part of Module3.
