Maximum shadow detail

Exposure was 1/45s. A small amount of sky at the left top and a patch of marble in full sunlight at the top right register 255/255/255. Otherwise, detail in the highlights is maintained. Dark hollows at the bottom are effectively black and would be at any exposure but, apart from them, shadow detail is clearly displayed. It is a cheerful picture but I think the bright stone wall top left, and some of the water, are a bit bland. Half a stop longer washes out most of the lighter areas and the shadows become boring.
