Some Days

Some days are better than others. Some days are so great you wish they could last forever. Some days aren’t. Some days you wish you could just stay in bed all day.

Some days everything goes right. Some days everything goes wrong. Some days….

I wish today never happened. I wish I could go to the calendar and click on “delete”. Today was one of those days when I tried to kick the football. Again. Me and Charlie, we have a lot in common some days.

Some days make you wonder why you try….. Some days make you want to run away to a cabin somewhere that doesn’t have a zip code. A cabin in the place that you can’t get to from here. Where there’s no people, no cell phones, no internet, no problems. One of those places that just is.

Some days suck all of the life that you think you have left, right out of your body. Some days make you want to cry, just to cry.

Some days……

Today was one of those days.

Don’t ask me what’s wrong (dad). I’ve said all I want to say. Tomorrow will be better.

It will be better tomorrow. Charlie and you both will come out okay. I've got to read that book Jen's talking about....I heard it really helps in times such as these.

Charlie has got a touch of the blues in his background there. But the sun is shining round the corner, and you'll get a blast of that soon too,Jim.

Hey Charlie, great SP - Hope things turn to the better by the time you hit the pillow!
Take care.

Perhaps I should clarify that those are hugs....::blush::...no disrespect intended, Mrs. Larkin. :)

Whatever it is, will fade away and the cycle goes to better things. XXX

You have given me an idea. If you want, I will mail you my copy of the book. You have to read it and Pay It forward...

Your line about the cabin made me think about the book, The Shack. You should read it soon....
