The Eastern Main Gate of Nijo Castle. Nijo Castle was the official resident of Tokugawa Ieyasu in 17th Century.
Tokugawa Ieyasu was the first Shogun of Tokugawa shogunate of Japan. Shogun is an historical military title in Japan. It is equal to General in the modern army.
