(leptopterus chabert)
The Chabert Vanga (sometimes erroneously called Chabert's Vanga) is endemic to Madagascar where it is found throughout the island in any wooded or forested areas. It is probably the most abundant of the Vanga family species. Despite being commonly seen it was never well or easily photographed as it usually kept high in trees and did not tolerate any close approach.
