Abyssinian Black Wheatear, Axum

The Abyssinian Black Wheatear is endemic to highlands in Ethiopia and Eritrea and also in N Somali. It is locally common. It is sometimes considered to be a sub-species of the Mourning Wheatear.
This photo was taken very late in the day at the Queen of Sheba's palace just outside Axum.
