I played a very long game of cat and mouse with this scene taken from the far side of the fjord at Vareid looking back to the mountains around Flakstad. It was both exciting and very frustrating and this is the result of nearly five hours at the location. Snow hail and sleet would whip in from the sea with tremendous force obliterating the view. I found that for just a few seconds before this occurred the sun would light the mountains making them look utterly majestic so I timed my photographs for that very same moment. I got wet and cold but the whole event was surprisingly motivating.
