Sunrise Eildon Hills

Eildon Hills, Melrose, Scotland

The softest wash of golden sunlight flickered across the tops of the Eildon Hills near the town of Melrose in the Scottish Borders. I was fortunate to be walking the four summit peaks at the time and I have to admit it is one of the finest and most pleasurable photographic landscape moments I can recall in all my years of landscape photography.

Beautiful image well executed. Met a couple and their 4 year old daughter at my daughter's house last weekend. Wonderful people from Scotland. Just wish I could have understood at least 1/3 of what they were saying ;-) Eepple Pie I found out was Apple Pie etc..... Your work speaks for it's self !!! Fred
