Gold Wash

Cove Bay, Moray, Scotland

An evening down at Cove Bay near Hopeman with some of the most divine golden light you could possibly hope to witness. The light tawny coloured pebbles some the size of footballs were perfect for picking up and exaggerating the golden light beneath a stormy sky that miraculously spawned hail on a summers day. Here I captured the last flickering moments of direct light caressing some of the stones.

Stunning light and colour and love the way individual large pebbles have caught the sun while others haven't.
