On the Elgol road approaching the small hamlet of Torrin are some scrawny windswept silver birch trees that just happen to lie in the shadow of mighty Blabeinn. For a short while some intense backlighting caused the birches to burn white hot and the short grassy tussocks to shriek verdant spring green, creating some tremendous mood and ambience.
