At the end of the sea loch are salt marshes with fingers of spongy grass irrigated by channels of water deftly carved into them. I arrived at sundown on a blissfully still Spring evening to a perfect reflection and an angry sky as a snow squall whirled its way recklessly across the magnificent Torridonian peaks. The storm had an amazing effect on the light as suddenly the sky flushed to magenta and then luminous pink from backlit sleet and fine rain descending from above. This was the initial stage which I happen to like very much but the outrageous colour that it turned a minute later was quite beyond belief if you want to check that one out have a look at "Torridon Dreaming". Definitely Transient Light.
