Loch Clair

Loch Clair, Torridon, Scotland

It is pretty rare to wake up to a perfect Spring morning in Scotland and even rarer to do so in the mountain corridor of the Torridon peaks. I confess I wished I'd climbed to the summit of Liathach but this view of it across Loch Clair is a pretty good substitute beneath dappled clouds and emerald isles of grass. It felt very good to be alive on that fine morning.
