Lakes and Dales: 2005

Two weeks: one based near Grasmere, in the heart of the Lake District; one, in Harwood-in-Teesdale, in the middle of nowhere.
The weather ranged from splendid to a maximum of nine degrees Celsius (at the beginning of August...!?); and the light was always stunning....

All photos here were taken with my trusty old Nikon CoolPix 5700 (apart from the Bolton Abbey ones:
which I used my little HP Photosmart R707 for... -- also 5MP resolution...):
with little or no post-processing apart from trimming and/or resizing....

And I forgot to take my wide-angle and fish-eye lenses with me (not to mention my filters, tripod, etc....):
so everything is pretty much as kosher as can be!
