The Bund was the location of many foreign enterprises along the Huangpu River during the semi-colonial period prior to WWII. These buildings have been tastefully (for the most part) refurbished, and the Bund is now essentially a promenade along the river across from Pudong. At the extreme right are Chinese brides posing for photographs with the river and Pudong in the background. Red is definitely the color for wedding gowns this year.
