My grandaughter plays in a youth basketball league, age bracket 5th and 6th grade. This past Sunday (Jan 21, 3018} they played Essex Junction in a mini-tournament and beat them badly (about 35-10). The main reason that beat Essex .... their coach had taught them how to play good defense, and the Essex coach had not. My grandaughter was #21 on the White "Thunder" team.

As for gear, I largely used my Nikon AF-S 80-200mm f2.8 old-timer on the D600, but also from time to time my Nikon 85mm f1.8D on a D7000.
