Blagg and Müller did a lot of work in order to put some order in the names for objects on the Moon.
In 1932 the International Astronomical Union decided to honour them for this hard work by naming a crater after both of them, although they objected against it.
The names were proposed by Felix Chemla-Lamèch.
Mary Adela Blagg (1858–1944) was an English astronomer and a fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society.
Karl Müller (1866-1942) was an Austrian government official and amateur astronomer.
