Joop's Dog Log - Thursday Jan 29 (2)

We have new snow!
It`s melting almost as quick as it`s falling, but we`re finally getting some snow in Paterswolde.
About time too! It`s a strange winter, the weatherhuman sais. And for once I think he`s right.
Thought this was a good occasion to show you my house. This is it. This is where I live.
Nothing fancy.
Just a good house.

Looks like an excellent house to me, Joop. You are lucky that your humans can provide well for you.--Some dogs are not so lucky as you (and Luke) and do not have all the cookies and privileges that you do.

Well, some snow. Be careful what you wish for , Joop. We were in the same boat here...now it just won`t stop snowing. In fact, I`m on my way out to shovel right now.
I like your house a lot. Looks like a very sturdy house...and three chimneys, wow!!! Lots of windows too, I see and a nice big tree for shade in the summer. And a VW sitting in the driveway. Well, looks like you`re a lucky dog, Joop.

Beautiful house, Joop, with large stunning windows and, as Ann noticed, 3 chimneys! Good looking and sturdy, just like you, Joop. Well met!

Moin, Joop..missed you this morning...and now we can see your home...is this "your" housetree? Bosslady says that houses always need powerful housetrees protecting us from bad things....

Go Joop, Go the snow will cover you.
And I don`t wanna see you covered by it.
Thank you for your comments in my Flog.
Our recue Unit really arrives in a good time, Rio de Janeiro has a lot of abandonned dogs on the streets that need care and a good shelter.

We had a little snow, too. Not nearly as much as Ann in Michigan, but it still looks pretty. Nice house, bud. I like the windows, too. We do not have a wonderful house-tree in our yard, one azela bushes that bloom in the sping. I hope you keep paws warms and your tummy full!
Kisses, Max

You look great in the snow Joop, and it looks like a wonderful house. Anyways, everyone knows that it is a dog that makes a house a HOME :-)

The first I saw - the big windows! There must be a lot of sun inside the house - that`s really good! And the tree! Every house needs at least one tree nearby. We have an old cherry tree here with many twigs and one cave - all for the birds.
Isn`t it wonderful to walk through the snow?

i like your neck strap thing joop... too bad my dog won`t be caught dead wearing one. i don`t know if it`s a nudity statement or not, but i doubt it. he sleeps too much to be an activist.

Oh my, Joop, but you have a very nice house. I too notice the fine windows, imagining that they let in a lot of sun in the winter, ideal for napping. Tell me, do you have a favorite room, or do you just hang wherever the humans are? Do you sleep in the human bed? Some do, some don`t, having to do with things like how much the humans kick. Harry and The Woo obey the `one person on the bed` rule. It says that beds are fine for furs IF there is only one human aboard. If it`s two, well, they know to forget it. They do have access to the rest of the house, couch and chairs and the guest room, but they prefer their bed on the floor, next to the humans. Anyhow, you`ve got a cool house, big guy, and lots of room. Now if you could just get them to install a dog door, open to the fenced in yard, life would be perfect!
