Joop's Dog Log - Friday Feb 06

We`ve had record temperatures this week: 18 or even 19 Celcius, and this is the first week of February.
Never before in recorded weather history has it been so mild so early in the year in The Netherlands,
said the weatherhuman on TV.
Some plants and trees think it`s Spring already.
Hey, I`m in a Spring mood myself!

The color in this one is very exciting to see. You look like you have a spring in your step. Do you have ground-hogs day in The Netherlands. It is when a groundhog, on Feb.2nd, comes out of his hole to redict the weather. If he sees his shadow then he goes back into his hole and we have 6 more weeks of winter. If he does not see his shadow then winter is over. (I think the idea is the shadow scares him) Anyway, he saw his shadow and popped back down his hole. I just wondered if you had any stories like that where you are. Great photo!

And yes, in our garden we have just snowdrops!
Great picture with wonderful partitioning and friendly colors and mirror.

Ah, a lad with Spring Fever, Joop? Is there a particular Miss Fotolog who`s got you going? I think a romance on Fotolog might be just the thing. Of course, the way things have been going lately, you`d be old and gray before you could ever leave a message on her f`log. They say it`s going to get better, but after spending the better part of an hour to get yr f`log to open, Joop, suffice it to say I`m not holding my breath! I`ll try to make it tomorrow, but there sure are no guarantees.

"What a beautiful picture! Plants are more instinctive than humans, aren´t they? Plants believe in their feelings rather than in preconcepted ideas...
I love your black-and-white coat contrasting with the colourful landscape!" Flô

Joop, that is incredible weather! Yesterday it was about -4 here, and everyone was driving around with their car windows open, and I even opened a couple of windows in my house... today it is supposed to get up to plus 2 degrees, with some rain fall... better get out our shorts :-))

Joop, you look so handsome no matter the weather. Our winter has been Northern California normal -- mostly sun, some fog, some rain. A couple days of freezing weather, but mostly much, much warmer.
Ho hum!

I sure does look like Spring in that photo. I wonder what will happen to those trees and plants if the weather turns cold and you get some snow. They, whomever they are, have said that we have changed the temperature of the Earth by destroying the ozone layer. Ah, well, I guess you will have to get used to the tropics, hey, Joop. I know you`ll just love 103 degrees with 97% humidity. And I know you`re human just loves that kind of weather, too.
