Monet's garden

During our trip to France in summer 2018 we spent a morning visiting the home of artist Claude Monet in Giverny. As I was walking through Monet’s garden and taking photographs I realized that normal photos of the flowers and scenes wouldn’t convey what Monet saw when he painted his garden scenes. I knew that I would need to present the scenes in an impressionistic style to mimic Monet’s work. Each photo in this gallery is edited with an impressionistic style with the original photo included for comparison.
