Slate Run Farm

Slate Run Living Historical Farm, in Slate Run Metro Park near Canal Winchester, Ohio,
turns back time to the 1880s, so visitors can experience how farming families lived and worked.
The gothic farmhouse was built in 1856 and has been restored for authenticity.
Farm workers dress in 1880s attire and use period tools and farm implements to complete
their daily chores. Visitors can tour the house, watching ladies prepare meals and tend
the house, or they can walk the grounds and see the pigs, turkeys, horses and other animals.
