The Lakeside daisy, a rare flower listed as a federally threatened species by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service,
grows naturally at only a handful of sites. The only site in the U.S. is on the Marblehead Peninsula of Lake Erie
in Northern Ohio, an area now protected as the Lakeside Daisy State Nature Preserve. The flower blooms
for about a week each May. Additional flower photos are in my Flowers and Plants gallery.
