Lakeside daisies, a rare flower listed as a federally threatened species by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service,
grow in a rocky field. The Lakeside daisy grows naturally at only a handful of sites. The only site in the U.S.
is on the Marblehead Peninsula of Lake Erie in Northern Ohio, an area now protected as the Lakeside Daisy
State Nature Preserve. The flower blooms for about a week each May. More photos of the Lakeside daisy
