The giant Christmas tree installed at the Comércio Square display a height of 75 metres (about 246 ft, the equivalent of a building with 24 floors),

I was in Lisbon this past November, 2006, my mom is from Portugal. And I adore Lisbon! I saw the tree going up but missed the lights, I was heading to Paris. It is so good to see it lit up, the praca do comercio is such a majestic sguare and so elegant. And a wonderful chioce for the tree. Thanks so much for the photo, I will be going back again in 2007! I love my Lisbon!!!
