The Temple of Athena, completed by Alexander the Great in the 4th century BC and located in Priene, an ancient Greek city in Ionia, now part of Aydın province in western Turkey. Priene was submitted in 2018 for inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List and is currently on its tentative list.
