Billy Bob

As I mentioned earlier, we decided to sponsor Billy Bob, a delightful pygmy goat we had met at Poplar Spring. We spent a lot of time with him before the tour started (pictures at beginning of gallery), and were so taken with him that we even asked at the time if he had a sponsor.

This is the framed picture of Billy Bob the sanctuary sent me along with the sponsorship papers (click on picture below), which give a detailed description of him and the dire situation he was rescued from.

I found a news segment and report on the car chase and accident in which Billy Bob was involved http://wnep.com/2017/06/15/chase-involved-goats-sheep/

The sanctuary has a sponsorship program for all their animals, from chickens and turkeys to cows and horses and everything else in between http://www.animalsanctuary.org/sponsor-an-animal/ It’s not overly expensive and is a good way to help these people continue the admirable work they’re doing with their 300 or so rescued animals.
