One goal in sight

Today was the United Airlines Rock ’n’ Roll Marathon, which ran right through our neighborhood, at the 13-mile halfway point.

The route goes down East Capital Street then turns left just before it reaches the US Capitol, heading across the Anacostia River, along the riverbank and back to end on Capitol Hill.

NOTE: I just checked the results, and this man finished the race in 5:44:25. Good for him!
