The eternally red house

One of a series taken after I got my D850 back from the shop, which had calibrated the lens. I’m hoping the calibration helps with some of the focus problems I was having with the camera.

I have photographed this house several times over the years, with different paint jobs but always some version of red. I don’t particularly like it, but for some reason I find it interesting. However, it used to look better when they had a garden in front.

Float under cover, posted earlier:

A very colorful house, but the yard could definitely use some greenery. V

The red makes this house really stand out in a crowd. Bold. Memorable. The bars on the windows also say a lot.

a bold frontage replete with strong statement... a few plants would soften the view ...

It is an interesting style for sure; looks almost like it might have been something other than a house at one time (?). I agree that a garden would make it much more appealing. Love your sharp shot of it, though. V
