The snow girl

It snowed last night so I bundled up this morning and went out in search of pictures with the new D850. Unfortunately, there was enough snow to stick and be a bother, but not enough to look picturesque. However, I did manage to capture Sahraa in our back garden, shivering in the snow. She adores the snow, but I made her come inside after this was taken.

This was cropped to about one-fifth of the original image.

Excellent detail and color, Helen. Hard to believe that Sahraa loves the snow with her short coat but glad she does. Looks like she's trying to cool off a bit. Great photo. Vote.

I love the quality of this shot. And the way Sahraa is looking at you. It is as if she doesn't mind the new camera! V

I'm sure she'd have wanted more snow, from the desert to the snow, she has an amazing life. Beautiful portrait

I know the feeling; though we still haven't got rid of the last sledge

Love that look! She needs you to build her a snowman to keep her company...although I think it would have to be a very tiny snowman. Still snowing up here. V
