Integrated

This is the old Greyhound bus terminal, which was for the most part demolished to make way for a modern office building. I’ve photographed the terminal façade before but never looked at the new structure as a whole and was impressed that the architect tried to keep the lines and feeling of the bus terminal. Or maybe I’m just imagining it ;-), but I thought it made an attractive, integrated building.

Smithsonian Institution, The Castle, posted earlier.

I’m glad they kept the old building and didn’t demolish it. Nicely captured. V

It is interestingly designed and better than some modern buildings (most modern buildings). Beautifully photographed. V

I like the repeating patterns of the windows and how the cars and flags provide a touch of color.
