Berlin Wall, the darker side

Saturday was the annual "Museum Day," when some museums around the country offer free entry. We have been wanting to return to the Newseum here in Washington, but with an entrance fee of $24.95, we just couldn't bring ourselves to pay that in a city where most museums are free. It’s a fascinating museum dedicated to the First Amendment Rights of the US Constitution – freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly and petition.

The other, less colorful side of the Berlin Wall section at the Newseum. (See previous picture for the front of it.)

The ‘indirect’ route, posted earlier:

It’s interesting that the shadows resemble prison bars. V

The shadows take the pride. Sort of a window to our world at the moment. At least a ray of hope! V
