When it rains, it pours in Riyadh

For anybody who thinks it doesn’t rain in Saudi Arabia, believe me it does, in winter. The problem is that there’s no proper drainage anywhere, so roads quickly flood, as do houses. This was taken on our way back home from the hospital after I dropped a frozen turkey on my toe and broke it.

That is a lot of rain but it does make for an interesting image. I like the raindrops on the windshield, too! V

Wow, that IS a lot of rain. You're right, for many of us rain and Saudi Arabia don't fit in the same sentence, but clearly that is untrue! V
