From the historic Washington landmarks in the Garden Court, we moved on to the West Gallery, which housed an enormous Douglas Fir Christmas tree decorated with national park ornaments and a model of the Old Faithful Inn and geyser, along with the front of a locomotive for kids to play on.
I don’t normally like posting two images of the same scene, but I wanted to show that the NPS tribute wasn’t as miniature as it seems below. I can’t, however, explain the gigantic poinsettia!
