Halloween has certainly become a very big thing on Capitol Hill, perhaps because of all the families with young children who have moved here, unlike how it was when we bought our house in 1987. I thought this was a particularly fun display, with the bat’s head moving from side to side, too. I bought some interesting looking pumpkin-kind-of things for our front stairs, along with a huge amount of candy. I bet it’s all gone in a few hours.
