The role of oil

On the day before we left Riyadh for good, we were provided with a driver to take us wherever we wanted to go. One place was the National Museum of Saudi Arabia for a final visit.

This was an unusual display for this museum but an appropriate one given the role oil has played in Saudi Arabia’s history.

Great shot, Helen. Turn on (off) the spigots and the world price of oil goes down (up)! A great representation of Saudi power!
