Heavily laden

I’m obviously getting to the end of my Portland pictures ;-), but I thought this tree was just gorgeous. Naturally I don’t know what it is, but I can’t remember ever seeing a tree so full of blossoms. From a distance it almost looked like it was covered in snow.

A nice touch, posted earlier:

Pretty sure this is a Japanese Dogwood aka Cornus Kousa. My Mom had two of them in her front yard. Gorgeous, aren't they.

It is gorgeous! What a sight this is, and I really like the way you captured it. V

Looks like a Kousa tree to me! They tend to bloom a few weeks later than the traditional dogwoods.
Great capture Helen! V

I love these trees, too. There were two pink ones in the yard of the house I grew up in. V

It looks like a Dogwood to me. The ones around here looked just like that this year, beautiful! V

I love to see trees in full flower, a shame they last for such a short time in spring.

Snow was my first idea from the thumbnail, too. It's really beautiful, Helen! V

Definitely dogwood. Love their showy abundant blossom! Goes great with the orange/red hydrant.

That be a dogwood Helen. From what it looks like, it's a Cornus Kousa. GREAT tree!

the hydrant makes a fine foil to the blizzard of blossoms...

This is certainly beautiful ~V~

Certainly beautiful and I think could be Dogwoods. I simply loved those when we lived in America, but perhaps June would be too late.

Wow, that is a beautiful tree!!!
