Last glance

I’m ending this gallery with a closer view of that gigantic dune; I was going to leave the trash in the sand, but in the end simply had to clone it out. Luckily there wasn’t much in view way up there.

There is one more picture that I have added, but it has to do with an unexpected (and daring) person driving one of those ATVs, and I don’t want to get anybody in trouble, so I guess for now it won’t be publicly viewable. Maybe in a while I’ll unblock it (or try to figure out how to make it password protected). It’s not that it’s such a great capture, but rather what it represents, i.e., that things are changing here.

Thanks for all the interest in this gallery! It was fun to finally be able to see, and even walk on (!) these famous red dunes. One more thing off my list of places to see before we leave Saudi Arabia this summer.

The color of the sand is just beautiful in this photo. I'm glad you have cloned the trash and made this as pristine as possible. Simply lovely. V
